We are committed to fast, secure, and reliable delivery, ensuring your order arrives in excellent condition and within the expected timeframe.

This page outlines everything you need to know about how we ship, what to expect, and what to do if something goes wrong.


2. Delivery Coverage

We deliver nationwide across Kenya, including:

  • Nairobi & Greater Nairobi (including Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado towns)

  • Mombasa & Coast Region

  • Kisumu & Western Kenya

  • Nakuru, Eldoret & Rift Valley

  • Mount Kenya Region (Nyeri, Meru, Embu, Kirinyaga)

  • North Eastern & Remote Areas (delivery timelines and costs may vary)

Free Shipping is available on all orders totalling KSh 5,000.00 or above, delivered within standard coverage areas. The free shipping threshold applies to the product subtotal after any discounts, excluding any service fees.

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address and order weight/size. The final shipping cost is displayed before you confirm your order.

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Kenyan public holidays.

These are estimated timelines and not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays may occur due to high order volumes, courier disruptions, adverse weather, or other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any known delays proactively.


5. Order Processing

5.1 Processing Time

Orders are processed on business days only (Monday – Friday). Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

5.2 Payment Confirmation

Your order will only be dispatched after full payment is confirmed. For M-Pesa payments, please ensure the transaction is completed and the reference number is submitted or confirmed. For card payments, dispatch follows successful payment authorisation.

5.3 Stock Availability

All products are subject to availability. If an item in your order is out of stock after payment, we will contact you within 1 business day to offer:

  • A suitable alternative product.

  • A partial shipment of available items with the remainder to follow.

  • A full or partial refund for the unavailable item(s).


6. How We Ship

We work with trusted courier and logistics partners to ensure safe and timely delivery. Depending on your location and order type, we may use:

  • Third-party courier services — for standard parcel deliveries across Kenya (e.g., G4S Courier, Speedaf ,Fargo Courier, Wells Fargo, or equivalent).

  • Our own delivery fleet — for Nairobi deliveries, especially for bulky or fragile items such as gate automation systems, CNC machines, laser engravers, and automobiles.

  • Motorcycle dispatch (boda boda) — for small, lightweight orders within select Nairobi areas.

The choice of delivery method is made at our discretion based on order size, weight, fragility, and destination.


7. Bulky & Special Delivery Items

Certain products require special handling due to their size, weight, or complexity. These include:

  • Quad Bikes, ATVs, Dirt Bikes, Kids Bikes, and Buggy Cars

  • CNC Machines, Laser Engravers, and Roller Benders

  • Gate Automation Systems (Swing & Sliding)

  • Motorized Curtain Rail Systems

For these items:

  • Delivery timelines and fees will be confirmed separately after order placement.

  • A Cynop representative will contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

  • Delivery may be combined with installation scheduling where applicable.

  • Ground-floor or accessible delivery is assumed. If special offloading equipment or access arrangements are needed, please inform us in advance.


8. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive:

  • An order dispatch notification via email or SMS.

  • A tracking number or waybill reference where applicable (dependent on the courier used).

  • Contact details of the courier or our delivery agent handling your shipment.

You may also check your order status by logging into your account at shop.cynopengineering.com or by contacting us directly with your order number.


9. Delivery Conditions

9.1 Accurate Delivery Address

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout, including:

  • Building name or number

  • Estate or area name

  • Nearest landmark or road

  • Contact phone number for the delivery recipient

We are not liable for failed or delayed deliveries resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. Redelivery costs arising from address errors are the customer's responsibility.

9.2 Recipient Availability

Someone must be available to receive and sign for the delivery at the provided address. If no one is available at the time of delivery:

  • The courier will attempt to contact you on the phone number provided.

  • A second delivery attempt may be made.

  • If delivery repeatedly fails, your order may be returned to us and a redelivery fee will apply.

9.3 Delivery Verification

Upon delivery, please:

  1. Inspect the package for visible signs of damage before signing or acknowledging receipt.

  2. If damage is visible, refuse the delivery or document it (photos/video) immediately and notify us within 48 hours.

  3. Keep all packaging until you are satisfied the contents are correct and undamaged.

Signing for a delivery without noting any damage is considered acceptance of the goods in satisfactory condition.


10. Failed Delivery & Unclaimed Orders

If a delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address provided by the customer,

  • Recipient unavailability after multiple attempts, or

  • Refusal to receive the goods without a valid reason,

the order will be returned to Cynop. We will contact you to arrange redelivery, which will be subject to an additional shipping fee. If you choose not to accept redelivery, a refund may be issued for the product cost, less the original shipping fee and any return courier costs.


11. Risk and Title

Risk of loss and title to goods transfer to you upon successful delivery to the address provided at checkout. Once delivery is confirmed, Cynop is not liable for loss, theft, or damage occurring after the point of delivery.


12. Shipping Restrictions

We currently do not ship outside of Kenya. For international enquiries regarding our products or engineering services, please contact us directly at info@cynopengineering.com.

Certain product categories — including motorised vehicles (ATVs, Quad Bikes, Dirt Bikes, etc.) and electrical machinery — may be subject to road traffic, safety, or import/export regulations if transported across county or international boundaries. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with any applicable regulations.


13. Public Holidays & Peak Periods

Deliveries are not made on Kenyan public holidays. During peak shopping periods (e.g., Black Friday, festive seasons, or promotional events), delivery timelines may be extended. We will communicate expected delays during such periods via our Website or email notifications.

Kenya Public Holidays include: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Labour Day (1 May), Madaraka Day (1 June), Utamaduni Day (10 October), Huduma Day (27 October), Mashujaa Day (20 October), Jamhuri Day (12 December), Christmas Day (25 December), Boxing Day (26 December), and any other gazetted public holiday.


14. Shipping-Related Disputes
